Lazzeroni ammo part # 782WB150LZHD is loaded using Dupont IMR-7828 powder, a Federal 215M primer and a 150gr Lazzeroni LazerHead™ bullet that is purchased undersized and then brought back to the proper diameter by the addition of a special plated-on lubricant.

Velocities should be around 3,715 fps from a 26" barrel and as high as 3,825 fps from a 28" barrel with either a 12 or 14 twist, at 72° F.

Velocities should be around 3,435 fps from a 26" barrel and as high as 3,542 fps from a 28" barrel with either a 12 or 14 twist, at 72° F.

This load is intended to push the 30 caliber 180gr velocity envelope to the max while using a bullet that will stand up to the world's toughest game animals.

Velocities should be around 3,503 fps from a 26" barrel and as high as 3,622 fps from a 28" barrel with either a 12 or 14 twist, at 72° F.

The benefit of this load is it's big brutal dose of energy, (over 5,000 foot pounds at the muzzle) in combination with the impact and penetration ability of the Swift A-frame bullet.

This load can be expected to shoot three shot groups at 100 yards from 5/8 - 1 3/8" and from 2 1/2 - 5 1/2" at 300 yards from a clean, cold barrel.

While this is certainly not stellar accuracy at long range, this load can be relied upon to take most game animals, (including the large bears) weighing up to 2,000 pounds anywhere in the world.
